Poetography-Bow-Tied Wishers
This beautifully written piece of poetry on the sweetest image, hence, Poetography, A term I coined while in college of my written musings combined with my photography, This will make a perfect addition to any room or a thoughtful gifted keepsake.
Bow-Tied Wishers
Suspendered pants and little bow tie.
Puckered lips, then let them fly
Wishes spread throughout the sky
Happy hopes for you and I
Mommy holds the little hand
Pride swells for her little man
Teaching him as only she can
His guiding star since he began
She’s the wisher extraordinaire
Who spread good wishes everywhere
Now she teaches the love affair
Of spreading wishes with the greatest of care
Take a stance and strike a pose
The seed keeper flower, held near your nose
Eyes wistfully gleam, and then they close
Intact, but ready to depose
As wishes fly, like paratroopers
Some are small, some super-dupers
Little hands become wish scoopers
Curiosity produces snoopers
Who want to know all of the wishes
Wished by big and little fishes
Taught by seasoned mom militias
Who love those lips to whom they give kisses
Then little wishers will learn o’er time
To make the wishes, yours and mine
A thing of beauty and rare sublime
Afflicting, air dance, a pantomime
Sweet bowtie, elastic suspenders
Borrowers be, or sometimes lenders
Become the pros and not contenders
Blessed be, and ne’er offenders
How precious wishes sent to the sky
Handed down from mommy to I
Prove themselves, the odds defy
From the lips of a child, with a sweet bow tie.
